According to T.I., the presidential race is a subject fit for a king. Or at least King magazine's politically-themed November issue, for which he served as guest editor. "When I'm speaking to young people and they say, 'Who you voting for?' I say, 'Well, what you think's wrong with the country?," says the rapper, 28, in a roundtable discussion. "What problems do you need to be fixed? Ok, then cut your PlayStation off and turn to CNN and listen to these people." "Listen to each of the candidates' platforms, and whoever you think is speaking passionately and intelligently and

Hilary Duff is lending her celebrity status to star in a new public service announcement (PSA) to teach teens the importance of denouncing anti-gay speech. The PSA, created in partnership with The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (Glsen), also stars fellow actress Wanda Sykes.
The 30-second ad campaign features the use of the term "that's so gay", which is meant to help teenagers recognize that their anti-lgbt language, a common reference to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual people, is harmful. The ad is done as part of ThinkB4YouSpeak, a new campaign from the Glsen. In addition to the reported PSA, which video can be watched after this news, there are also some other PSAs featuring other celebrities that can be watched on ThinkB4YouSpeak.

The 50th anniversary Sleeping Beauty DVD is available today from Disney. It was never one of my absolute favorites growing up, but the studio sent me a copy of the two-disc re-release and I popped it in this weekend.
I was surprised by how much flexibility there was with a 50-year-old movie in a format the filmmakers never envisioned. The picture's been restored, it's in the widescreen format, which I'd never seen on TV, obviously, and there are some never-before-seen features , including an alternate opening and deleted songs.
So it's a pretty good pick-up, particularly if you're a fan of the classic Disney cartoons. The remarkable thing about it to me was how little it has aged. Perhaps that's the animation or the timeless story, but it really holds up well half a century later. Not too many flicks from the late 50s can say that.
So get it while you can,

Sitting down with Entertainment Weekly for an interview, Demi Lovato clears up the rumors surrounding her these days, discussing such issues as report on her dating Joe Jonas and the much reported feud between her and Miley Cyrus. She, moreover, also talks about looking up to another Disney star Hilary Duff as her role model.
Rumored to have dated her "Camp Rock" co-star Joe, Demi insisted that despite playing lovers on-screen she and Joe are tour mates and friends. "Joe and I never dated. We're really good friends," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I just think it's funny that people try to pin me to them. It's like, Oh, come on! I think [if I were going to], I would have dated one of them by now!" she continued saying referring to the Jonas Brothers.
Befriending Joe and his famous brothers, Demi gives them credit for helping her to earn her big breakthrough, saying "Imagine being new to Disney,

Model-turned-fashion mogul Kimora Lee Simmons' new Barbie doll comes with a faux-fur coat, in a bid to show young girls they can look "fabulous" without skinning animals.
The designer and reality TV star admits she was thrilled when toymakers Mattel decided to model a Barbie in her likeness, but she had one recommendation.
She says, "She has a faux-fur chinchilla coat, because I want to show kids that synthetic fur can be fabulous, too. She's everything a Barbie is supposed to be."
Simmons isn't the only celebrity to inspire a modern Barbie - a Hilary Duff doll has also been created recently.
