Will Smith’s latest action hit “Hancock” dominated the international box office this weekend with a stunning $78.3 million in ticket sales in 50 territories, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Along with its five-day domestic gross of $107.3 million, Peter Berg’s film brought its worldwide total to $185.6 after just a few days in release. That’s not a bad result for Will Smith, who proved yet again he’s still a global box office hero.
DreamWorks Animation’s “Kung Fu Panda” delivered another strong weekend performance overseas with $38 million in a total of 44 markets. John Stevenson and Mark Osborne’s computer-animated family adventure lifted its international total to $151 million.
Meanwhile, “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” finished in third place with $24.3 million from ticket sales in 42 territories, reaching a total haul of $194 million. Although the film had a slow start domestically, the sequel to “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch

“Get Smart” stormed to the top of the North American box office this weekend with $39.1 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday.
In the Peter Segal-directed spy comedy, Steve Carell stars as a clumsy secret agent who has only a few days to prevent a ruthless crime lord from securing world domination. Anne Hathaway, Alan Arkin and Dwayne Johnson co-star.
DreamWorks Animation’s family film “Kung Fu Panda” stayed put at No. 2 with a weekend gross of $21.7 million, reaching a total domestic gross of $155.5 million after three weeks in release. Directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, the film follows the adventures of a lazy panda who must learn the basics of kung fu.
Last week’s box office champion “The Incredible Hulk” slipped to third place with $21.5 million from ticket sales at 3,508 locations. Released by 20th Century Fox and directed by Louis Leterrier,

“The Incredible Hulk” shattered its competition and seized the No. 1 spot at the North American box office this weekend with $54.5 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.
Marvel’s comic book adaptation, which stars Edward Norton as a scientist who transforms into a green giant when he’s consumed by his anger, defeated last week’s box office champion “Kung Fu Panda,” which slipped to second place with $34.3 million.
DreamWorks Animation’s family adventure, about a lazy panda who must learn the basics of kung fu, brought its domestic total to $117.9 million after a stunning two-week run. Directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, the film features the voices of Jack Black, Ian McShane and Dustin Hoffman.
