Not that their reactions were subdued. "[We're] so excited," said Betty star America Ferrera at Monday's New York City premiere of her movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. "I'm so happy for them," gushed Ferrera, 24. "They're going to be the best parents. I don't think there could be a more wonderful father to girls." With the recently concluded second season of Ugly Betty, fans can’t help but think what’s in store next season. Silvio Horta has already told us that he’ll be refocusing the show to revolve around Betty and Betty alone, and this may mean bad things for some of the characters who might get chopped off. We recently heard about Rebecca Romijn’s role on the show as being tagged as recurring instead of regular, and fans did get a little bit worried.
Now that the show is on hiatus in preparation for its third season, two of Ugly Betty’s cast members spoke up about other possible Ugly Betty ventures, and what’s to come in the third season of the show.
Recently, Michael Urie, who plays the flamboyant Marc St. James, spoke to Britain’s Heart Fm and talked about the possibility of a Broadway rendition of the highly successful dramedy.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is to follow in the footsteps of fellow fashion queen Victoria Beckham after accepting a cameo role in hit TV series Ugly Betty.
The catwalk queen will play herself in the upcoming second series finale, according to the show's star Becki Newton.
The actress says, "She's going to be in our last episode, which is exciting.
"I've personally requested that I don't stand next to her because (my character) Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person."
Campbell was originally announced as a guest star last year, but the Hollywood writers' strike scuppered plans.
A spokesman for network Abc confirmed Campbell would be appearing in the show.
Beckham appeared on the show in November when she played a bridesmaid to Vanessa Williams' catty fashion boss character, Wilhelmina Slater.
