The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

There are some bloody and scary images but nothing too graphic.

characters are shot, resulting in some blood spray

a man is stabbed by a sword; blood gushes from the wound

a monkey is killed

Profanity

Two instances of taking the Lord's name in vain as well as one minor swear word.

A paralyzed man talks a 5-year-old girl into stealing morphine from the depository for him. At another time, he convinces her to break into a fellow patient's cabinet to steal the medication that is in there. Later, he swallows handfuls of pills in front of her in an attempt to kill himself.

He is not able to kill himself, and later, regrets taking the pills, as the little girl convinces him that he should live. The overall theme of the movie is anti-suicide.

There are some ugly and scary looking creatures but they don't have that much screen time. Older kids should be able to handle it.

Several of the heroes of the story die in the end, as the little girl sobs.
