Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Violence & Gore

A man's head is blown off in a car; blood and brain matter sprays the windshield, and the two men inside it. We see a few other views of the bloody mess as the two men try to clean the car.

Two men fight, and end up extremely bloody; they are knocked out and wake up bound and gagged. One of the men is then raped by another man, while the other escapes. The escaped man grabs a samurai sword, and slashes a man across the chest with it, killing him. The rapist is then shot in the groin with a shotgun; blood and matter sprays and he screams in agony for an extended scene.

A man shoots another man with a machine gun; blood splatters everywhere.

A man lying on a couch is shot and killed (no blood), and another in a chair is shot several times (this death is seen twice, the second time on screen, with some blood).

A man shoots at two men and misses; they shoot back and kill the man, with a little blood visible.

A man shoots at another man and misses, but hits a woman; she screams and a little blood is shown.

A man hits a man with a car knocking him unconscious and crashes his car into another, severely bloodying his nose.

A woman overdoses on heroin. Her nose bleeds and she foams at the mouth. She is brought back when a man stabs an adrenaline syringe into her heart; the scene is extremely suspenseful and startling.

Lots of threatening with guns, and talk of violence.

Profanity

265 uses of f*ck.

non-stop F-words, racial insults, and other R-Rated profanities.

The N-word is often repeated, which may offend some viewers

Two men talk about the availability of hash in Amsterdam, and getting high on it

Characters are seen smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages at a bar

A man buys heroin from his drug dealer; the dealer asks the man if he wants to hang around and "get high"

In one scene, we see several close-ups of a man preparing heroin and injecting it. In later scenes he is seen obviously high.

A woman is seen preparing cocaine and snorting it from a mirror.

That same woman ended up snorting heroin, thinking that it was cocaine. She overdoses. Blood and drool are seen all over her face. Later, she is injected with a drug.

A woman is seen inhaling from a bong.

a main theme of the movie is that two of the characters are thugs who kill people and deal drugs for a living

The previously mentioned heroin overdose scene is intense as it features a character stabbing her in the chest with a large needle in order to inject adrenaline into her heart.

Some viewers may find the male rape scene disturbing despite the majority of it being played out off-screen.

Some viewers may find the scenes listed under "Violence & Gore" intense or frightening, although some of it is played out for comedic effect.
