"He like cheese balls" - best line in the movie!! Other than that this was garbage, about as yummy as the DDT that supposedly transformed cute little salamanders into these beasts who kill if you get in their way. I can understand joking how this is a great movie but giving it a "10"? That's really not funny. Nothing in this movie deserves a "10" except maybe the sand on the beach. Chock full of mostly bad acting, mostly bad effects. Boy Scouts from Nebraska could probably stage a more realistic take over and evacuation of a tropical island. I will say I did like the little guy; I thought the baby monster was kinda cute. Adam Baldwin did okay. The helicopters were nice. The sun was shining. It was kind of an interesting story but just flopped. How could it not? A tv movie like this, what kind of budget were they looking at, like 5 or 600 bucks, maybe a thousand? It goes to show ya that almost everything made-for-tv, especially in the action category, is worth less than the time you spend to watch it.
