Trivia:
The mountain often seen on the show is actually Mount Hollywood. moreQuotes:
Paris: For example, I can instantly deduce that when someone hears the name Paris in the same sentence with the word date, jaws will drop, confused looks will cover faces, words like 'how' and 'why' and 'Quick, Bob, get the children in the minivan because the world is obviously coming to an end.' will immediately fly out of people's mouths. moreSoundtrack:

OK, I admit it... I started to watch this show because I knew my favorite actor, Scott Cohen, was going to be a guest star. (My family tapes the episodes and sends them to me here.) I fully intended to stop watching it after his appearances were done. But, somewhere along the line I found myself enjoying the show even when Scott wasn't a guest star. The writing is absolutely wonderful. Lorelei's verbal comebacks are some of the best I've ever heard -- her verbal banter with Max in the coffee shop scene of the Cinnamon's Wake episode is one of my favorite scenes. It's warm, funny, serious, and just all-round enjoyable. Lauren Graham is perfect as Lorelei, and special kudos go to Alexis Bledel as Rory... for a first time actress, she's done a marvelous job. I very much enjoy Kelly Bishop and Edward Hermann as Lorelei's parents. And Max... well, I think I'd like him even if he wasn't played by my favorite actor :). My thanks to Scott Cohen -- if he hadn't been on this show, I would have missed something very special.
