Trivia:
Mandy is the longest running villain to appear on the series. She made her first appearance in the first three episodes of Season 1 working for Ira Gaines, and returned in Season 2's finale for a cameo appearance where she tries to assassinate David Palmer. She returns again for the last three episodes of Season 4. Mandy was also originally intended to appear in Season 5, but was replaced by another character. moreGoofs:
Continuity: In the Season 5 episode where president Logan intends to send his wife to a mental hospital, he decides the last moment to change his mind and pick up his wife who already sits somewhat paralyzed in the car, while assistants and agents pack her bags etc.. We then see the split-screens of the actual occurring events, in especially President Logan standing in his office/retreat pacing and thinking, therefore clearly inside the house. But when the scene cuts complete to Martha Logan in the car, suddenly the President turns up at the car and gets his wife out of it, to tell her he is not going to send her to the hospital. This appears only seconds of real-time later, after we saw President Logan still being inside the house. To the reach the car in this short period of time was not possible for him. moreFAQ

Okay,I'm guna start off by saying that yes, this show is sometimes too exaggerated, the plot always kind of thickens too much, the patriotism of some characters seems slightly exaggerated. But these are all stuff that are acceptable. Think about it. Try to compare this show to other shows, and you will see that there is nothing like it. well, there was nothing like it,when it was first aired. Its clearly proof of a successful team-work of proffessionals. the editing, the acting, the music... And Kieffer was bourne to play the role of Jack Bauer,it fits him as a glove.
i haven't seen all the aired seasons yet,but i will, and I'm glad that there is a show out there, that survived the danger of being canceled, that takes me by surprise, after all these years after its pilot...
