• In one of the racetracks, an old Nintendo robot, R.O.B, appears as a robot giant.
  
  
• Samurai Goroh's son Daigoroh (unlocked by playing story mode on very hard) is named after the son of assassin Itto Ogami from the film _Kozure Ôkami: Shinikazeni mukau ubaguruma_ (1972) the only difference in there name is a missing H in the original name, they are also similar in appearance
  
  
• In Story Mode Chapter 3: High Stakes at Mute City, Falcon is registered under the fake name "Famicom". Famicom was the name of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in Japan.
