I have heard a lot about Brice de Nice before watching it. I've seen people wearing Brice t-shirts and I've heard the stupid song. Though I don't really appreciate comedies, I gave it a try. Have I smoked too much pot and did I really enjoy it? I usually don't laugh when I watch movies that try too hard to be funny. This one tries very hard. But I laughed. For me it succeeded. And it grew on me. Now I wanna watch it again just to live another time all these funny moments I enjoyed and all the ones I might have forgotten. It's one of the very few recent comedies that made me laugh along with Napoleon Dynamite. OK now having said this, if you like comedies, do not be too enthusiastic. This movie's not for everyone. Some people are meant to like it, others will just hate it! At the beginning I thought it was pretty stupid but I slowly got seduced. At the end, when the credits started to roll, I realized I had one hell of a good time!
