This story isn't too bad of a story for kids. There are the funny parts, and cute puppies. The puppies are definitely cuter than the dog Bud in the other Air Bud movies but cuteness aside the plot is pretty basic (even for a kid movie) and doesn't make all that much sense. Still kids will enjoy it enough that it's worth watching. Don Knotts and Wallace Shawn are awesome which really saved the movie for me, I'm surprised this eighth or ninth (whatever) Air Bud movie was still able to draw some actual star power. If you have kids who are really into pet movies then this movie is a pretty safe bet, but it's really only for the younger children who don't care that much about plot....
