Fez, Hyde and Eric plan a road trip to get beer in Canada and take self-invited Leo, who is against beer -unlike pot- but has memories there from the Vietnam years, but Kelso, who once set fire in the car to manure they were taking for a prank, may only join when he promises to pay. Red chose a video recorder as premium, but what to use it for and how cause him to get in another row with Kitty, who just wants to watch Roots while it's on TV. When Jackie is invited to do audition for an obscure, Wisconsin-based modeling agency, she dreams of world fame, but Donna soon sees trough the shabby one-woman fraud operation. Everything goes well in Canada, till Fez can't find his green-card and fails to pass the border undiscovered in the booth; Kelso has the best idea how to handle two amusing but unamused Mounties.
