Latest: Actor Balthazar Getty has confirmed reports he has split from his wife Rosetta, amid rumours he is having an affair with actress Sienna Miller.
The Brothers + Sisters star, 33, was photographed frolicking on a yacht off Italy's Amalfi coast with a topless Miller earlier this month, just days after he denied he was romantically involved with the Alfie star.
But Getty, who has four children with Rosetta, says the photographs have forced him to admit he and his wife are living apart.
In a statement released on Monday, he says, "The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved.
"In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that, yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."

Welsh actor Matthew Rhys has dismissed rumours he has revived his relationship with The Edge Of Love co-star Sienna Miller - insisting on-set romances are "the worst idea in the world".
The Brothers + Sisters star, 33, dated the British actress before she become involved with Rhys Ifans - and has been blamed by the media for the couple's subsequent break-up earlier this month.
But Rhys insists he is not romantically involved with Miller, accusing the press of making up stories about their alleged relationship.
He says, "(There has been) a lot more speculation about the whole thing than actual fact."
And Rhys admits that he would never consider dating a co-star - because relationships forged on a movie set rarely work out.
He adds, "On-set romances are the worst idea in the world. You get caught up in the microcosm of filming, especially if you're playing romantic parts, and I'm only speaking from my own experience here, but it never really pans out afterwards."

Actor Matthew Rhys prefers to live in Britain - because he is fed up of his American friends setting him up on disastrous dates.
The Brothers and Sisters star moved from his native Wales to America three years ago.
But he is regretting his decision - because he is becoming tired of his new pals setting him up with the wrong women.
He says, "Here, everyone who's in a couple is obsessed with matchmaking up single friends. Everyone's like, 'You guys should go on a date.'
"Initially you go along with it and then you realise, actually, this is ridiculous."

Despite the success of Brokeback Mountain in theaters and Brothers & Sisters on television, gay-themed movies are "doing worse than ever" according to a report by the Reuter News Agency. The drop-off in attendance is being blamed on the proliferation of "gaysploitation" films that are easily available on Amazon, gay-oriented cable channels like MTV-owned Logo, cable pay-per-view, the Internet, and Netflix. Few of these films, however, are aimed at mainstream audiences, possibly because they are doing so well with gay audiences. Commenting on the trend, the Reuters article concluded, "Despite breakthroughs like Brokeback, gay films already are well down the same path as 1970s black films, where quality projects like Sounder were the exception and blaxploitation flicks were the rule."

Brothers + Sisters star Matthew Rhys once almost caused a multi-car pile up in Los Angeles by driving on the wrong side of a road - because he is so used to traffic rules in his native Britain.
The Welsh star had just returned home to Los Angeles after a trip to the U.K. when he took to the left hand side of the road - to the horror of other drivers.
Rhys recalls, "This poor woman was driving towards me.
"I was there, 100 per cent in my conviction that I was in the right, gesticulating at her, and she panicked, because I was so convinced, and she wasn't sure what she was doing wrong."
But the 33-year-old noticed his mistake just in time and narrowly avoided a major road accident.
He adds, "I suddenly realised I was on the wrong side of the road and felt awful."

Actress Sally Field has denied throwing a tantrum over the current Hollywood writers strike at the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. The Brothers & Sisters star was rumored to have launched a scathing attack on Screen Actors Guild President Alan Rosenberg during Sunday's ceremony - resulting in a heated argument between the pair. It was reported that Field was angry about the delay in resolving the walkouts by the Writer's Guild of America union members - which have crippled the U.S. film and TV industry since November. A representative for the actress concedes the discussion did take place, but insists it did not get out of hand, telling the New York Post's gossip column PageSix, "(Field) did not throw a tantrum. She was sitting next to Alan (Rosenberg) at the table and wanted to talk to him, she didn't corner him. She thought talks should have begun sooner and was trying to relay information from other actors that contract negotiations should begin sooner rather than later, and he became incensed. She had to raise her voice to be heard over his. She has every right to express her opinion to him."
