Fun Stuff

Trivia:
After the scene where Locke and Eko watch the orientation video for the "Pearl" station of the Dharma Initiative, a gag commercial is included in the next actual commercial break. This commercial sings the praises of the Hanzo Corporation, which sharp-eyed viewers would recognize as being the copyright holders from the Dharma Initiative tape. This commercial included a website and a toll-free telephone number at the end (www.sublymonal.com and 1-877-HANSORG, respectively). Viewers who called the phone number were treated to an interactive presentation wherein they could listen to the voice mail messages of senior executives of the Hanzo corporation, and, when the phone call was "hacked" by a mysterious woman called Persephone they could obtain a password. When visiting the website, viewers could play an interactive game which eventually unlocked access to the Hanso Corporation's homepage. If they tried to sign up for the Hanzo newsletter on this site, the site would be "hacked" by Persephone, who would ask for the password from the telephone number. Those with the password were signed up to access "secret" anti-Hanzo news and messages from Persephone. more
Goofs:
Anachronisms: Locke and Eko access a central station and create a print out using an Apple ImageWriter II. This is also seen on the orientation film dated 1980. However the ImageWriter II wasn't introduced until 1985. more

Answering the call of the ? symbol., 11 May 2006
8/10
Author: Shashi Krishna from Denmark

An Eko-centric episode the "?" explores the aftermath of the tragic events that rocked the castaways in the previous one. As the main characters John, Locke, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley come to terms with the incident in the hatch, Locke and Eko set out to find out where Henry took off to. As it turns out Eko is on a mission of his own trying to figure out the symbol ? which Locke had drawn on his sketch. We see flashes of Eko's life in Sydney as a priest who comes in contact with his brother through a stranger. We also witness the tragedy that struck the hatch boil down to a room temperature as Michael continues to remain a mystery.

An excellent LOST episode with many interesting turns.
